1. Konkurranse E 8' 6" 7# Original model Asbjørn Hørgård
Originally designed for tournament casting, but perfectly suitable for light salmon and heavy trout fishing too. Taper is presented in publication by Wolfram Schott, "European Rod Tapers" rod no: 118854.
Original model is standard 2 piece and equipped with ferrule. This rod I altered a little to suite 3-piece and joint scarf construction. Original is also claimed to be class 8# rod, but I prefer it rather to be 7#, will cast any line from 5# competition lines to 8# shooting heads. Smooth and very powerfull casting action. Definately will not roll-cast !
